Silvio Gerber
Director of Photography / Partner
Our master of dad jokes thinks in images. Finding unprecedented compositions, Silvio pushes for the genuine emotions and visceral shots. With an unwavering inner calm, he films in all conditions, from icy winter landscapes or underwater currents to Middle Eastern sandstorms. Alone in the rainforest. Or in teams on full-scale advertising sets with the tightest of timings. His exceptional skills have led him to over sixty countries and numerous awards from the Solothurner Filmpreis, to Cannes Corporate, US International Awards, Edi., and ADC Switzerland.
If you need a cinematographer of international standing that can shoot highly cinematic scenes in a high-key or low-key setting, Silvio is your man. His flexibility makes him the chameleon amongst cinematographers. Always loving to bring home terabytes and terabytes of material that make our editors sweat. While he entertains his niece with the most adventurous stories of his trips.
