What are the necessary steps in a film production?
The very first step is understanding your marketing strategy. What is the goal and key message of the film? Ambitions, questions, and ideas shall be addressed to develop a concept uniquely for you. Our producers will guide you in this process and you will work closely with our copywriters, directors, editors, camera men and women to turn the idea into reality. Our 16 employees work hand in hand and with direct lines of communication, avoiding endless loops. You are part of the entire process. Your wishes count on every step of the way, so you can proudly present a film that is uniquely your organization’s brand voice.
Do I have to have an idea before coming to Filmgerberei?
No, you do not need to have developed concept or idea yet. Of course, you can and we can help you from there as well. Generally, though, all you need is to tell us the goal of the video within your marketing strategy. We will guide you in developing the idea and concept that matches your budget means. Even when unsure if video is the right medium at all, we would be happy to talk your situation through to discover the opportunities film brings you in your mission.
How much does a film cost?
This is an understandable question, yet hard to answer as no two films are the same. How many shooting days do we need? Is it pre-scripted and staged? Or is it documentary? Are actors involved? Or composers? What equipment do we need? And how much of it? There are many variables defining the price of a film. That said, each variable is also an opportunity to lower costs. Together with you, we will find the solution that grants you a uniquely tailored film according to the means you can bring. And if your budget is the set variable, we will find the idea and production ways to match it.
